Personal protective equipment is the last thing standing between you and an electrical hazard, so it has to be the right gear, in good shape, and worn the right way. This course shows you how.
You will learn the main kinds of electrical protective equipment and where PPE fits among other ways of controlling a hazard, how to match equipment to the task, and how to inspect, wear, store, test and retire it. The course is honest about what PPE cannot do and walks through the common mistakes that leave workers exposed. It is based on NFPA 70E (2024 edition) and OSHA requirements.
Built for electrical workers, technicians and supervisors. Plan on roughly 3 to 4 hours. You can start and stop whenever you like, and your progress is saved. Each lesson ends with a short quiz, and the final quiz opens once those are passed. One final quiz of 50 questions, and you pass with 40 correct. You will see your score and whether you passed.
This course supports your training. It doesn't replace your employer's safety program, fit checks or hands-on training.
